The firm's core work is structural engineering; however, e.construct is increasingly holistic at its approach to buildings and it has divisions in MEP, Geotechnical and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing of concrete, technology and 3D laser scanning.

Role SummaryNondestructive testing includes a wide range of methods and techniques to examine and determine the properties of RC concrete and steel, and other construction materials including strength, stiffness, homogeneity, detection of anomalies as cracks, voids, and to study durability aspects as condition and progress of corrosion.NDT experienced engineer should have sufficient proven experience with NDT testing methods and techniques for different applications (examples: GPR, Impact Echo, UPV, and other methods). He must be fully aware to testing standards as ASTM.Technical Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and prepare specific testing plan.
• Prepare technical reports to top industry standards.
• Prepare guidelines and specifications for remedial measures as repair works, etc.
• Review the project particular documents as drawings, specifications.
• Supervise the testing works of technicians including conducting necessary training.
• Observe the operational condition of instruments, maintenance or calibration needs, and proper storage system.

Management / Administrative Responsibilites

• Lead a team of Junior Engineers and Technicians.
• Coordinate with Structural Engineers.
• Responsible for marketing and expansion in other markets.
• Business development: Introduce new techniques, methods, or applications.

Qualification Requirements

• A university degree in Civil Engineering (M.SC or higher) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in NDT testing, evaluation, and associated works.
• Full awareness of the limitations and strength of each method, and the area of successful application.
• Full awareness of applicable codes guidelines including ACI, EC, BS, and others as applicable.
• Ability to propose remedial measures to treat existing defects with guidelines and specifications.
