Workx, the talent management division of Blue Ocean Academy is looking for a Software Developer for its client.
Location: Abu Dhabi
The role
The Software Developer must analyze, design and implement functional programs to cater to their business requirements.
Responsibilities
• Analyze, design and implement business requirements for Training Simulators using C++ programming language and technologies
• Analyze and check requirements with a technical perspective
• Integrate and test the implemented software within the existing systems
• Investigate and fix code defects
• Cooperate with the testing and integration team to help with test plans and data configuration
Requirements
The candidate
• Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience developing C++ applications based on Windows platforms
• Deep knowledge of Software Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Principles
• The following additional skills are a plus:
Ø GUI development using Qt frameworks
Ø Knowledge of PowerShell scripting language
Ø Knowledge of C# / .NET, WPF and DevExpress Frameworks
Ø Experiences with distributed computer systems.
Ø Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Team Foundation Server, Subversion and GIT.
Experience working in an Agile development environment and international teams.
