We are looking for a Delivery Assistant who will be responsible for loading, unloading, delivering and picking up goods in a timely and safe manner as well as preparing and cleaning company assigned vehicle.
Operational Responsibilities
- Deliver valuable and non-valuable products in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain daily records through relevant documentation and trackers of pickups and deliveries, and hours of operation
- Check vehicles to ensure safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Follow routes and time schedule and suggest most efficient routes in order to ensure turn around targets are met
- Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is duly and accurately completed as per Company procedure as as per agreed timelines
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and kept clean and odor free at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Delivery Assistant
- Knowledge of SIRA rules and regulations will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of logistics documentation and systems
- Good verbal amp; written communication skills
