About the Role

The Office Manager plays a varied role in ensuring the smooth, day-to-day running of the office. The role is to create and maintain a pleasant working environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. The Office Manager will have contact with all levels of internal staff as well as clients and visitors.



Requirements

Office Management

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure the office operates smoothly
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Assist with office layout planning, office moves, and liaise with IT team on office equipment
  • Plan staff events i.e summer and Christmas parties
  • Provide assistance for coworkers at office

HR Support

  • Act as a Jellyfish Core value ambassador
  • Work with HR to Embed Jellyfish policies, procedures and behaviours
  • Coordinate with HR to work through the analysis and action plans post employee surveys
  • Work with appropriate departments such as HR and Global office management on Lamp;D and engagement initiatives
  • Initial POC for absence and wellbeing
  • Support the People team with the processing of new starter onboarding and Visa documentation
  • Ad-hoc requests for regional documentation that require stamping/translation (salary certificates, employment references)
  • Supporting the People team with benefit administration
  • Participate in People team projects as required

What you’ll need

  • Office Manager/administrative assistant experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Strong communication and organisational skills in a fast paced environment
  • Possesses strong customer telephone and face to face skills.
  • Is confident and has high personal standards
  • Proficiency in G Suite would be an advantage
  • Arabic language an advantage
