Position Overview
As a lead Content Writer, you will plan, recommend, and develop content, and the process of content creation, to meet campaign objectives or other content goals prioritized by the business.You are deeply passionate and knowledgeable about full-cycle content development across digital marketing webpages, editorial content, and content marketing assets. Possess leadership and managerial skills.
What is the Job like?
* Create unique content for websites, blogs, ebooks, white papers, newsletters, videos, press releases that bring true value to our community and strengthen our sales funnels* Refresh and optimize existing landing pages with inspiring, creative stories and relevant information, infusing them with personality that increases conversion rates* Collaborate with our tight-knit marketing and creative teams to make progress on projects that are meaningful for both our community and our company, pitching in wherever needed* Use research on the latest industry trends and customer issues to suggest content marketing initiatives* Utilize SEO keywords to create enhanced written content* Stay abreast of SEO content best practices* Follow style guidelines to ensure consistency across websites* Periodically refresh content to ensure it is accurate and continues to align to our strategy* Present and drive projects from start to execution
Education* Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
Skills amp; Experience* At least 5 years of experience in content strategy, digital content creation, and/or content marketing.* Experience in producing SEO-optimized content* Preference to writers who have experience in: Financial services/B2B Saas tech industry* Experience in not just different types of writing but also building strategies for the content marketing team.* Strong written and oral communication skills and a penchant for marketing internet products* Ability to write about very technical topics* Deadline driven and ability to deliver on time* Flair for ideating and building creative content.* Passionate and can hold and defend opinions* Strongly biased towards the value of research and constantly seeking awareness of who your audience is* Hands on individual with the ability to cope with a fast-paced work environment
