This is a role for a bilingual English-Arabic designer, communicator, collaborator and problem solver who can deliver end-to-end design across multimedia types, screens, formats and technologies. Our ideal candidate is passionate and driven, with an eye for detail and a blend of creative and technical production skills.
This position will work closely with the fellow designers and cross-functional teams to design, create and maintain the visual experience of curated content for social, digital and offline formats.
The Visual Designer is responsible for researching, crafting and executing conceptual designs based on creative briefs and partnerships with the editorial, social and business teams. You will be expected to move fluidly between creating first-class visual solutions yourself, and sourcing photography or illustration.

- You'll be responsible for elevating the craft for some of the world’s most beloved brands, you make sure that designs are awesome and in line with expectations.
- You’ll help to translate creative/client briefs into thorough design briefs.
- You go above and beyond the brief to push what’s possible when it comes to design opportunities and aesthetics.
- You’ll help to ideate, create style proposals, sketches and mockups to kickstart new projects and win pitches.
- For some projects, you set the style; for others, you help safeguard predefined styles.
Requirements
- You’re a technically skilled designer with 4 + years of experience as a designer or art director crafting digital designs and advertising materials
- As showcased in your portfolio, not only your Photoshop skills are so slick, they look shopped but it is your design thinking that gets them talking.
- You're a master of Figma / Sketch.
- You're a great collaborator, enjoy working with clients and colleagues around the world. You have strong communication skills.
- You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualising to designing layouts and quality assurance when working with the production team when rolling out different formats across markets.
- You're a tastemaker and have a strong design sensibility.
- You have a solid understanding and fundamentals such as typography, grid system, interaction design, flow, storytelling and design system, you can get teams to improve the work conceptually, aesthetically and functionally.
- You're confident to present designs to colleagues and clients alike.
