What we want from you?
Plan and execute user research and discovery work for specific markets and usage scenarios
Apply strategic thinking to design and design effective, engaging experiences which balance user needs, business goals, and technological realities
Communicate designs through sketches, flows, customer journeys, and wireframes, leading cross-disciplinary team communication, collaboration and development.
Create lightweight prototypes which communicate the intent of initial ideas and concepts with the goal of galvanizing the team toward solving a common outcome
Create delightful product experiences
Collaborate with product management, development, marketing, and other team members
Have a good knowledge of service design methodologies
Be fluent in English and preferably in Arabic

Product designer summary points
Product designers at dopay are responsible for a wide range of activities, from face-to-face user research to running design studios to prototyping various interaction options. You know what technique is right for the problem at hand. You understand the appropriate qualitative and quantitative inputs and how to apply them when making complex design decisions. You’re strategically minded and think about the full product and experience eco-system, while at the same time sweating the details.
You create the necessary artefacts to communicate what the user experience ought to be, whether that’s prototypes, user personas, life cycle or journey frameworks, or service diagrams. You know what we need to produce to help the team contribute and understand your ideas.
The product design team advocates for design thinking and seeks to cultivate a deep understanding of the customer problem. You go wide to explore potential solutions before narrowing in on the right one for the business and the customer. You keep our customers at the centre of all your designs, we strive for simplicity by working hard to reduce complexity. You cultivate a deep empathy for our customers and their needs across the organisation.
You are meticulous when designing end-to-end interactions that will solve customer problems and you balance function with delight in the understanding that every interaction reinforces our brand.
