Job Description for IBS (In building solutions) Technicians.

• Understand the design documents (floor layout , schematics, GSM room ..etc.).
• Perform site survey and prepare a report indicating all the requirements and dependencies.
• Installation of main DAS (RF cables, connectors, components, and antennas) with standard quality.
• Installation of fiber optic cables, splicing, testing.
• HW installation in the main and remote GSM rooms ( Huawei , Nokia and Ericsson cabinets)
• Material tracking with clear record on the available and balance materials.
• knowledge on safety procedures and risks during the installation in different sites.
• Perform daily activity and follow up the implementation plan.
• Conduct Cable testing using different tools (site master, PIM analyzer)
• Perform periodic reporting on the daily and weekly implementation progress.
• Report to the Engineer for any deviation from the original design for the necessary approvals.
• Coordinate with site building management for access and work plan.
• Prepare IBS site folder documentation and as-built`s.
