We are currently talent pooling for a Cleaning Supervisor in anticipation of growing our operations in Abu Dhabi. The Cleaning Supervisor will lead a team of cleaners and ensure we provide excellent cleaning service.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- oversee daily activities of assigned team/s
- establishing cleaning schedules, assigning team members to shifts, and arranging for replacements in case of absence
- regular inspection of cleaning equipment, ensuring equipment are in good working condition and to request replacement if needed
- actively participate in the daily briefing, daily warm-up, and department meetings.
- establish and implement cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
- maintain and submit reports with regards to cleaning personnel, equipment, supplies, and general expenses.
- training and developing employees (cleaners).
- re-stocking of cleaning materials, controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- High School Diploma
- hands-on experience with cleaning, use of cleaning equipment and products
- Certificate of BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) or any relevant cleaning course certificate
- Related experience in malls (food-courts, public areas); high traffic areas
