Kitopi is the world’s leading managed cloud kitchen platform - we partner with restaurants and food concepts to help them expand beyond borders. Founded in 2018, our mission is to satisfy the world’s appetite and we currently work with over 150 brands.Kitopi (pronounced: Kee-Toh-Pee) stands for Kitchen Utopia. We serve as enablers to our brand partners in the food market by providing services centered around (but not limited to) sourcing, preparing, producing, and packaging - working closely with our delivery partners to help deliver exceptional food, on our customer’s terms.We are able to achieve this with our in-built, pioneering cloud kitchen technology - a first-of-its-kind innovation.
Our services have also expanded beyond the kitchen to include groceries - Shop Kitopi, subscription-based meal plans, and a first-of-its-kind on-demand food court concept Mix ‘N’ Match.Kitopi currently operates more than 60 kitchens across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, and Bahrain, thanks to more than 2000 amazing Kitopians.And we can’t wait for you to join us.
Kitopi is the world’s leading state-of-the-art Cloud Kitchen solution for the food tech industry. Software that we create enables our 50 Dark Kitchens to prepare food for the biggest global and local brands. Sounds abstract? No worries, we will explain :)We are a unicorn startup operating globally (2000 employees globally, mostly kitchen staff) with roots in Dubai, but the Tech Talent Team (70 employees) is right there in Poland, Kraków.You will be working on an innovative and highly scalable Cloud Kitchen solution for the food tech industry. We are creating a software solution to take care of the whole food ordering journey: from the moment when a customer places an order, through the food preparation and packing process in our kitchens, up to the moment when the delivery boy rings the bell at your door with a first-class meal.We are looking for independent and technologically advanced mobile developers who will help us develop a high availability cloud platform for the Food-Tech sector. We develop and maintain our applications in 80% - 20% proportion.

- Kotlin (coroutines and android-ktx)
- Flutter as we are exploring new technologies
- Koin (dependency injection)
- Android Jetpack (Navigation, LiveData, ViewModel, Lifecycle)
- Unit testing
- Firebase services
- Libraries: retrofit and okhttp
- Good communications skills and good English
- In small Scrum Teams - Product Owner and QA in Krakow
- We do Code Reviews and are Clean Code practitioners
- We use Continuous Integration/Deployment
- We write all kinds of tests
- Phone screen with a People Team representative
- 1 stage - Technical Interview (ca. 60 min)
- 2 stage - Live coding, in the office or online (ca. 90 min)
- 3 stage - Meeting (non-technical) with PO or VP of Engineering
