Job Description

Lean’s Customer Success Associate role works at the cutting edge of fintech by partnering with founders and developers who are building the next generation of fintech services. You’ll work with hundreds of companies, from early stage startups to large enterprise clients, and be integral to their success with Leanby helping them launch on the platform, collaboratively problem solve, and drive revenue growth through new product adoption.
About the JobLean is looking for ambitious self-starters who are excited about working with companies of all sizes and help them launch and grow with our APIs. The right candidate has the ability to build strong relationships with their customers, develop a deep understanding of their priorities, motives and key drivers, is solutions oriented, and has demonstrated success taking initiative to drive results.
You will be the primary point of contact for our customers and will work with them on all stages of integrations, scaling, driving adoption, product expansion, and account management. You will be responsible for working directly with key stakeholders ranging from developers to executives to help them create the applications that will empower businesses and consumers with their financial data and payments.

Who we are Lean Technologies provides access to a universal API that unlocks critical financial infrastructure for fintechs across the MENA region. The Lean API provides developers with easy access to build the next generation of cutting-edge financial solutions.
With the Lean API, fintechs can seamlessly connect to their customer's bank accounts to initiate payments and retrieve account information, such as balance and transaction history all while providing the customer with absolute control over their data and money.
Lean is at the forefront of the Open Banking initiative within the Middle East. We aim to create a supportive and collaborative ecosystem of fintechs to support the growth of the industry within the region and ultimately give end-users useful products and seamless experiences.The Role
  • As one the first members of the customer success team, you will be responsible for owning the overall relationship with our portfolio of customers, and ensure they’re happy at all times!
  • Build relationships with the C-Suite and Product teams to retain and grow revenue.
  • Help customers integrate and launch on Lean.
  • Own revenue targets, which includes identifying and closing new upsell opportunities and leading commercial negotiations for contract renewals.
  • Analyze our customers’ performance, and work with product and marketing to provide recommendations to maximize their data and payment flow /revenue
  • Solve complex customer challenges through creative problem solving by working cross-functionally with Sales, Integration, Risk, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Business Operations.
  • Ongoing work with Customer Support to ensure we maintain our SLAs, prioritize clients and keep clients happy.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated relationship management experience; previous startup/tech experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts quickly
  • Desire to get (more) technical and the ability to learn the ins and outs of Lean’s APIsInterest in financial services and technical products; a high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed
  • Ability to work with all types of people and build long-lasting relationships
  • 4+ years of experience working with customers or internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
