Mobile QA (Manual)
Responsibilities
· Champion of testing within your team
· Actively involved in preparing TDD/BDD based tests scripts for software product and feature quality at both system amp; user level
· Ownership of E2E quality assurance of your team
· Partner with 3-amigos and accurately estimate test effort during sprint planning
· Own test coverage, test scripts, monitoring and technical debt for your team
· Lead defect triage during software delivery and ensure your team reports on test execution, coverage, defect densities amp; other Quality Engineering practices
· Be a top-class critical thinker, providing 100% test coverage at every turn to keep regression at bay through continuous integration amp; continuous testing mindset
· Design, create, modify, and execute test strategies/plans and drive to improve software testing processes and methodologies
· Testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently
· Updating operating systems, specifically iOS, Android based on requirement
· Assisting with the configuration of test environments
Requirements
Must Have:
· Good experience in Mobile testing on iOS/Android devices
· 3+ years of working experience in software development, quality assurance, test automation amp; automation framework development
· You have experience with agile practices, TDD/ BDD, Continuous Testing
· Experience with test methodologies, writing test strategies, test planning, writing test scripts and debugging
· Detailed knowledge of manual testing best practice techniques, tools and processes including Test script preparation, Test Execution, Supporting Multiple release, Cucumber, RESTful Principles, Postman, CI/CD, Mock libraries, Linux, bash, Jira, Confluence
· Strong experience in the following testing: - Mobile Application testing, Compatibility testing, End to end testing, Defect triage and Root Cause Analysis.
· Good communicator with a strong command of the English language
· Team Player with ability to work with cross-functional developers, management and implementing solutions
· Experience in defining and improving software processes
· Self-motivated and ability to work well under pressure
Good to have:
· Knowledge around Web Automation, Mobile Test Automation, Appium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Espresso, XCTest, Docker, Kubernetes, TestRail, Charles.
· Knowledge of automated testing best practice techniques, tools and processes including Cucumber, RestAssured, Karate, Serenity, Postman, Gatling, JMeter, NeoLoad, CI/CD, Gitlab-CI, Git, Spring, JUnit, PyTest, PACT, Kafka, Chaos Monkey, Mock libraries, Linux, bash, Jira, Confluence
