Job Description

We are in search of an energetic and experienced HR amp; ADMINISTRATION MANAGER who will be based in Attingue, Ivory Coast (African Region) to support and partner with our growing team there and who speaks fluent English and French. The selected candidate will manage the human resources and administration function ensuring an amazing employee life cycle experience, in compliance with both labour law and the Group HR framework and global policies and practices. Additionally this role supports the development, planning and implementation of employee engagement, staff welfare and CSR programs. Our ideal candidate must have strong experience with employee life cycle practices, be a systems thinker with experience in HR automation and be an expert in Ivorian labour Law and employee relations management. You will ensure excellent HR support services are extended and provided to the project and management teams. Ultimately, you should be able to act as an expert implementer of human resources management and a consultant on organizational development and change management.

Key Responsibilities for this role includes:

  • Assists the Group Head of HR in developing, reviewing, and implementing HR plans, policies, procedures and initiatives for the project/ business unit.
  • Works closely with line managers on people matters performance management, development, recruitment, learning amp; development, discipline procedures, etc. to enable them to effectively manage and engage their direct reports.
  • Manage payroll, leave, employee benefits and administration, ensuring all aspects of this section are properly addressed and managed.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, from hiring requisitions, job posting to offer management, ensuring good candidate and internal client experiences are delivered throughout the process.
  • Ensure performance reviews are completed for all employees, update employee performance review records, prepare reports within the performance cycle.
  • Oversees the activities of the HR amp; Administraion team, ensures processes and procedures in compliance with both local and company policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare required HR reports to support the Group Head of HR in consolidating the required HR reporting pack.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to other team members to support the achievement of department objectives, initiatives, and activities.
  • Implement ‘Performance Management the GCCS Way’ by setting KPl's for direct reports, conduct regular reviews, identify training requirements, and provide coaching, mentoring and supportive role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Certified HR Professional CIPD, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent (preferred)
  • At least 10 years progressive HR generalist experience
  • Fluent in verbal and written English amp; French language
  • Work experience in a multi-cultural work environment
  • Deep understanding of HR Policy framework implementation
  • Knowledge of HRMS, ATS preferred
  • Deep understanding of recruitment practices, systems, and methods
  • Deep understanding of Manpower Planning amp; Organization Design methods, application, and systems including application of Job Design amp; Evaluation methodologies
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of the Ivorian Labour Law
  • Customer centric, delivery-focused, and results-driven with excellent communication amp; interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple on-going projects
