Responsibilities:

Automation

1. Should be able to execute sprint testing, release testing independently.
2. Estimate daily testing tasks for medium amp; high complexity automation project.
3. Able to enhance/create automation framework for different project needs
4. Review code for automation framework, take into consideration design pattern, modularization and user libraries for code reuse.
5. Explain automation approaches to peers/clients and works independently on testing solutions.
6. Expertise in test management tools like TestRail/Jira/Xray.
7. Expertise in test automation tools like Selenium/Rest Assured.
8. Expertise in Java/JavaScript language.
9. Maintain/Create testing pipelines using CI/CD tools
10. Share best practices on automation testing with the team.

Test Planning and Execution:

1. Define and implement Test Plan, automation approaches based on development methodology for medium complexity test.
2. Manage different automation testing tracks for the integrated solution helping team members / track leads estimate and plan their tracks efficiently
3. Ensure delivery of test execution results as per test cycle defined timelines
4. Collect relevant metrics and do proper reporting for test execution and maintain 100% test platform pass rate in SIT.
5. Create and ensure the adherence of defect SLAs, NO Sev1,2 defect leakage to SIT and higher environments and follows up for closure.
6. Actively participate in defect triage meetings and updates defect details as per meeting outcomes
7. Advice Tech Leads on overall testing estimates for the team

Requirements

• Must have Strong 3-6 years automation Experience in Web and API Applications using Rest Assured, Selenium etc.
• Mobile Automation Experience is good to have.
• Strong Experience in API Testing automation using RestAssured or any other library - ability to work on their own.
• Strong Experience in Core Java -ability to work on their own.
• Good Experience in Java 8 - ability to work with minimal support and learn new concepts.
• Good Experience in Selenium ability to work with minimal support and learn new concepts
• Strong in implementing BDD using Cucumber/Serenity/Gherkin - ability to work on their own.
• Good Experience in CI/CD using Gitlab or any other tool - ability to work with minimal support and learn new concepts.
• Theoretical Knowledge in Swagger is Good to Have but should be willing to learn.
• Theoretical Knowledge in Docker is Good to Have but should be willing to learn
