Your RoleAs an Account Director, you will be part of the growing team of social strategist, practitioners, and community experts based in Dubai.
You will help support the overall vision of business and will be responsible for managing the implementation of day-to-day strategic digital initiatives for our local clients.
You will partner with clients, strategists and creatives to bring brand platforms to life and activate engaging work to market across all social channels, digital touchpoints and stages of the customer journey. not afraid to write, edit and define social content plans. You will be in charge of not only developing, refining and defining social content plans, but selling those content, frameworks, channel strategies and content production plans to clients.Key Role and Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and management of social content, and potential influencer activity across digital programs.
  • Managing and developing client relations, exhibiting best practice in handling client requests.
  • Delivering digital and integrated projects from start to finish, including resource management, project management, budget control and client liaison.
  • Proactively identifying digital opportunities for existing and potential new business and leading on work associated with forecasting and recognizing revenues.
  • Overseeing quality and operational performance of digital outputs and managing broader client mandates to make sure the team is meeting deadlines.
  • Coaching and guide junior team members.
  • Working closely with hub / large teams sitting across markets.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Min. 7-8 years of experience working in digital and social within an agency, marketing firm or editorial digital publisher.
  • A strong leadership figure, confident and representative of the team and the broader agency, with excellent management skills.
  • Able to provide strategic counsel rooted in insights and intelligence to clients.
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written - able to develop high-quality strategy, write documents and proposals.
  • Track record in developing content and social strategies, audience planning/mapping, community management as well as new, innovative technologies.
  • Experience working across both consumer and B2B clients.
  • Passion for using digital to amplify campaigns, someone who can partner with clients, work on unlocking local opportunities and ultimately ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
  • Awareness and understanding of managing executive social channels / pages.
  • Bi-lingual - can draft, vet, and read content in Arabic.
