We are looking for accomplished, dynamic, digitally savvy Account Executives to find and build business opportunities in the White Goods and Furniture business verticals who will be directly responsible to manage, preserve and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.


Responsibilities
  • Generate business leads internally and externally for the respective vertical White goods and Furniture.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Cultivate new sales leads to establish business and market/negotiate offered services, in your respective verticals and ensuring that revenue and profit targets are met.
  • Utilize DFreight platform and technologies to improve value proposition, solutions and service deliverables and efficiency and create customer facing value.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with KPI metrics.
  • Drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building.
  • Execute monthly Sales summaries for analysis and reporting; generate insights leveraging internal and external business intelligence to report on and drive the business.
  • Calculate and measure risk profile for strategic plans and decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally to review pricing, market penetration and service KPIs.
  • Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through Airfreight, Sea Freight, Road Freight, value added products and contract logistics.
  • Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of defined vertical group of customers, in line with the company’s short and long term results amp; targets.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Drive both revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals and modes.
  • Responsible for the management of customers load acceptance process as well as the creation of SOPs for each respective system.
  • Create sales calendar, attend customer events and conduct annual business reviews.
  • Clearly understand goals, policies and procedures of the company.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience in Sales/Account Management in the freight-forwarding / logistics Industry, in the UAE / region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent combination of work and education)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow business and to meet sales targets.
  • Analytic skills to review both financial and operational data.
  • Proven Negotiation Skills complied with the ability to close business wins.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
  • Able to work under pressure where needed.
  • Able to travel both internal and abroad.
  • Strong business acumen.
