QA Director

Hypemasters is a fast-growing gaming studio that specializes in developing and publishing unique and innovative video games. With a talented team of developers, designers, and marketers, we are committed to creating the most engaging and immersive gaming experiences for players worldwide.

We are seeking a QA Director to design, implement amp; support the best QA practices. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues and ensure that all features and functionality meet quality standards. You will also provide leadership and technical expertise to the QA team and collaborate with the Technical Director to establish and enforce quality standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee QA processes and day-to-day activities
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that all features and functionality are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards
• Identify, document, and track issues and bugs in a timely and efficient manner
• Continuously evaluate and improve the QA process to ensure that it is efficient, effective, and scalable
• Promote a quality mindset throughout the organization and cross-functional teams
• Provide regular updates to senior management on QA progress and issues
• Participate in the development and implementation of overall studio goals and strategies
• Participate in reviewing new features and help with estimations and decomposition
• Work closely with the development team to implement a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for QA
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of QA processes and practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies and plans
• Experience with QA automation and testing frameworks
• Strong technical expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
