About Role:

The primary role of the Recruiter will be to identify the right mix of skills and experience to staff new and recurring aviation roles such as Flight Crew, Cabin crew and other aviation operation roles. They will also be responsible for undertaking all hiring activities, from creating requisitions, advertising open roles, screening to interviewing candidates, closing hires, and preparing offers.

The Aviation Recruiter requires to have industry experience, knowledge of the Human Resource Market, and employment regulations worldwide.


Duties:

  • Responsible for applying leading edge recruiting principles to develop strong candidate relationships and deliver high quality talent to Hiring Managers.
  • Identifies sourcing avenues and places recruitment advertising in various forms of media.
  • Maintains good public relations with various civic and welfare organizations and local businesses.
  • Plan, coordinate and participate in pilot recruitment events in conjunction with recruitment team
  • Build a pool of aviation professionals and keep the information up to date with talents availability, training, developments, and employments shifting
  • Define recruitment needs, work closely with the department's heads to understand details of the position, and build a job profile
  • Prepare requisitions and post vacancies on various career portals. Sourcing and engaging with talents
  • Conduct screening, interviews, validation of documentation, and reference check of aviation professionals
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection activities. Closing out offers for selected candidates, preparing offer letters, and getting the candidates on board within the stipulated timelines, and updating candidates on their selection status
  • Navigate in industry recruitment trends and innovations, monitor career portals
  • Maintain the HRMS platform and contribute to the improvement of the process
  • Manage specific projects and participate in functional and cross-functional company initiatives
  • Provide other support to the Team as and when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in an aviation related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in recruiting crew and other aviation roles through the full life cycle phone screens, assessment, interviews, scheduling, references and background preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in the aviation industry is mandatory
  • Experience in applicant tracking software, word processing, spreadsheet, scanning, database and presentation software preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
